Key calcium silicate insulation parameters at a glance. For full specifications, consult the individual product data sheets.
| Parameter | Value / Range | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| Thermal Conductivity | λ = 0.056 + 0.00011t W/m·K | Where t = mean temperature in °C. At 100°C: λ ≈ 0.058 W/m·K. At 400°C: λ ≈ 0.100 W/m·K. |
| Density Range | 170 – 900 kg/m³ | From lightweight HCS-17 (170 kg/m³) to high-strength MF-HD (800–850 kg/m³). Higher density increases compressive strength; select per application loading. |
| Maximum Service Temperature | 650°C – 1100°C | Grade 650 matches ASTM C533 Type I (649°C). Grades 1000 and 1100 exceed ASTM C533 Type II (927°C). GF-1100 fireproof board withstands 1100°C fire exposure. |
| Compressive Strength | 2 – 17 MPa | HCS series: 2–3 MPa. MFDJ composite brick: 2.0–2.5 MPa. MF-HD high-strength board: ≥13 MPa tensile. Values at room temperature per GB/T 5072. |
| Flexural Strength | 0.25 – 0.50 MPa (HCS) | Increases with density. HCS-17: ≥0.25 MPa. HCS-25/SCS-25: ≥0.50 MPa. Per GB/T 10699. |
| Linear Shrinkage | ≤2% at rated temperature | Measured after 3–16 hr soak at maximum rated temperature. MFDJ series: ≤1.2% at 900°C × 3h. Per GB/T 10699. |
| Reaction to Fire | Class A1 (non-combustible) | Per EN 13501-1 and GB 8624. No contribution to fire at any stage, including fully developed fire. |
| Moisture Resistance | Not waterproof; weather barrier required | Tolerates occasional moisture better than ceramic fiber. Outdoor installations need metal cladding or mastic weather jacket. Store boards dry before installation. |
