4. Xonotlite Manufacturing Process

Mingfa's products are based on xonotlite (6CaO·6SiO₂·H₂O), the preferred calcium silicate hydrate phase for high-temperature insulation. Unlike tobermorite-based products that degrade above 650°C, xonotlite undergoes topotactic transformation to wollastonite only at 750–800°C, giving it exceptional dimensional stability and reliable performance up to 1050°C.
