What Sizes Do Calcium Silicate Boards Come In?
Calcium silicate insulation boards are manufactured in a range of standard sizes. Mingfa also produces custom dimensions and CNC-machined shapes to match project specifications.
Standard Board Sizes

Thickness Range
Standard thicknesses range from 20mm to 120mm, typically in 5mm or 10mm increments. The most commonly ordered thicknesses are 25mm, 40mm, 50mm, and 75mm. Thickness below 20mm is technically possible but less common due to handling fragility. Thickness above 120mm can be produced by laminating multiple boards with high-temperature adhesive.
Pipe Insulation Sections
Calcium silicate pipe sections (half-shells) are available for pipe diameters from 1/2 inch to 24 inches (15mm to 600mm). Wall thickness matches the required insulation thickness, typically 25mm to 100mm. Pipe sections are produced in standard lengths of 600mm or 1000mm.
Custom Sizes and CNC Machining
Mingfa offers custom board sizes outside the standard range. Our CNC machining capability produces complex shapes including curved segments, tapered sections, mitred corners, and cutouts for pipe penetrations and equipment nozzles. Dimensional Tolerances
Standard dimensional tolerance for length and width is +/- 3mm. Thickness tolerance is +/- 1mm for CNC-finished boards and +/- 2mm for as-pressed boards. Fire door core boards are precision-ground to +/- 0.5mm thickness tolerance.
